How to Set Up IPTV on Formuler, MAG, and BuzzTV
Dedicated IPTV boxes like Formuler, MAG, and BuzzTV are built specifically for IPTV streaming. These devices offer built-in portal support, wired Ethernet, and purpose-built interfaces. This guide covers the general setup process for Formuler (MYTVOnline), MAG (Infomir portal), and BuzzTV boxes.
What you'll need
Step-by-step instructions
- 1
Connect your IPTV box to your TV and network
Plug the box into an HDMI port on your TV and connect the power adapter. For the most stable streaming, connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the box. If using Wi-Fi, connect through the box's network settings menu.
- 2
Power on and complete initial setup
Turn on your TV, select the correct HDMI input, and follow the on-screen setup wizard. This typically involves selecting your language, connecting to Wi-Fi (if not using Ethernet), and applying any available firmware updates.
- 3
Open the IPTV portal or player app
On Formuler boxes, open the MYTVOnline app. On MAG boxes, the IPTV portal loads automatically. On BuzzTV, open the pre-installed IPTV player app. These built-in portals are designed specifically for IPTV streaming.
- 4
Enter your activation details
Select the option to add a new portal or playlist. Enter the server URL (portal URL), username, and password from your activation email. On Formuler MYTVOnline, choose 'Add Portal' and enter the details. On MAG, enter the portal URL in the Settings menu.
- 5
Load the channel list
Save your configuration and wait for the portal to connect and load the channel list. This may take 30–60 seconds depending on the server. Once loaded, browse live channels, EPG, and on-demand content using the box's remote.
- 6
Adjust settings for optimal playback
Within the portal or app settings, check the video output resolution, EPG refresh interval, and default group. Set the resolution to match your TV (1080p or 4K). Apply any available firmware updates through the box's system settings.
You're ready to stream
Once your channel list loads, browse live channels, EPG, and on-demand content. If you experience buffering, check your internet speed and switch to a wired connection where possible.
